Sportivos helps children shine on the football pitch and thrive beyond it. Our classes are fun, welcoming and designed to build real football skill, confidence, friendships and a love of being active.
We coach children from their very first steps onto the pitch through to game-ready confidence, advanced 1-to-1 coaching, birthday parties, online courses and school programmes.
Our mission is simple: help every child feel welcome, brave and excited to play, whether they are naturally outgoing or taking their first nervous steps into a group.
The Flinch Effect & Digital Products
The Flinch Effect was created because I kept seeing talented young players hesitate, freeze or play safe, not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked confidence in the moment that mattered.
That became the foundation for Winning the 1v1, our online course and eBook designed to help players build simple, repeatable habits so they can attack defenders, make decisions and play with more belief.
But confidence is not only built at training. It is shaped at home, in the car after matches, at bedtime and in the small moments parents often do not realise matter. That is why I have created parent resources like Bedtime Kick-Offs, Count On Sport and 7 Things Parents Do That Kill Confidence.
These digital gifts are designed to help parents support their child’s confidence, learning and love of sport without pressure, shouting or accidentally knocking belief.
Digital Product Development For Coaches
For years, I believed the only way to grow was to coach more sessions, open more venues and trade more hours. Then I had the moment that hit hard: I was coaching other people’s children while my own kids were getting lifts to football from someone else’s dad.
That was the epiphany. Coaching is powerful, but if your whole business depends on you being on the pitch, your income, freedom and family time will always have a ceiling.
Now I want to help brilliant coaches with strong followings turn their knowledge into digital products, courses, eBooks, challenges and memberships that serve their audience beyond their local area.
This is not about replacing coaching. It is about building assets around your coaching so your expertise can help more people, create more income and give you more freedom.
I’ve Coached Talent, But Confidence Matters More
I’m proud to have spent over 25 years coaching young players, from grassroots football to more advanced environments.
I’ve worked with programmes including Manchester United Soccer Schools, Little Kickers, football projects in the USA and Malta, and I hold UEFA coaching qualifications alongside my FA Tutor experience and more.
Along the way, I’ve been lucky enough to coach some outstanding young players who had the talent, drive and potential, to go all the way to the very top and i'm proud of the part I played in their journey.
But the longer I’ve coached, the more I believe my real job is not to peddle the dream of becoming a professional footballer. Very few children make it, and selling that dream too heavily can create pressure, fear and disappointment.
For me, the bigger win is helping children build confidence, resilience, bravery, good habits and a love of learning. Whether they go on to play professionally, play for fun, or simply carry those habits into school and life, that is the result that really matters.
Attention Is Not The Same As A Business
This section is for the coach I call Active Alex: the football or sports coaching business owner with 40K to 150K followers, strong content, big views, loyal fans, but still no clear offer, no list and no digital product.
Through my ClickFunnels Funnel Builder Accreditation, I am learning how to help coaches turn scattered attention into a proper value ladder, from free lead magnets to low-ticket products, online courses, memberships, coaching programmes and high-value offers.
A website shows people what you do. A funnel guides them to the next step, captures their details, follows up automatically and helps them buy when they are ready.
My goal is to help good coaches build pages that showcase their skill, grow a list they own and create a business that is not completely tied to the pitch, the weather, the diary or the next algorithm change.
